Why is it that women spend hours and paychecks, and endure intense pain to make sure their bikini lines are perfectly manicured? Not to pick on men, but I don't know any men that spends $75 at Bliss Spa for a bikini wax. I don't know any men that wax below the belt. Period.

If men think about sex every three seconds, they must think about grooming every three days. Mind you, this is based on my oh-so-handsome husband who I have to pay to exfoliate his face with the most luxurious of Art of Shaving products.

They offer individual services, everything from an eyebrow wax to an arm wax for men. Additionally, they offer some fabulous packages. MAX WAX also offers wonderful waxing services for women. I must warn you, they mean business. This is the perfect waxing salon for the super busy New Yorker, who has 30 minutes to her her eyebrows waxed and get back to the office.

I'll admit it. Perhaps I'm a tad jaded. After working in the beauty biz, it's hard to impress me with a totally unique product; something really innovative, something I have never seen before. Whether my jaw drops in awe or in disgust, it doesn't matter. If a product can get a rise out of me, it's worth further investigation. Maybe it's the name that threw me off or the image of the cartoon purple gorilla. Not exactly the sexy, chic or sleek marketing that gets me hot and bothered.

Who likes shaving? Silence. Who likes sweatiy, smelly armpits, B.O.-cursed dresses and funky smelling tank tops? Nobody outside of the zoo! However, as beauty has become more and more aspirational throughout the past few years, promising the consumer a moment in time or a forbidden kiss, seeing this made me think of a smooch from a big, fury friend.
