Beauty News: Sneak Peak at NARS Cosmetics Spring 2010 Collection

You may be bundled up in layers to prevent the New York wind
from burning your face, but this week NARS Cosmetics would
like to provide you with a sneak preview into their oh-so-warm
spring collection, which is filled with soft and sexy shades. Very hot!

While products will not be available until January 15th, here's
your chance to check out the collection and pick your favorites
before they hit the stores.

Supermodel Amber Valletta was selected to be the face of the Spring 2010
campaign. Why am I not tall and blond? Ughhh!

I'm typically a super squeamish girl. The sight of blood makes me faint. Even gory or cheesy horror flicks like Hostel or I Know What You Did Last Summer make my stomach turn. But I just can't get enough of True Blood!

What's this Fall's hottest makeup trend going to be? Well, I don't have a crystal ball handy, but I do have the inside scoop from the makeup masters over at NARS Cosmetics. According to the beauty experts at NARS, Fall 2009 makeup looks are all about being bold and feminine. 

This season, NARS introduces a new collection to add some femininity and sass to your everyday Fall makeup.  

The inspiration for these vibrant shades? According to famed makeup artist, Founder and Creative Director Francois Nars, "I wanted to create something fragile, but strong, seductive but not aggressive." 

In typical NARS fashion, the collection contains bold hues and sexy shimmers. There's a vampy blood red lipstick, sparkling deep purple polish and sunset-color eye shadow singles and duos. 

My personal favs are the vampy Fast Ride Lipstick and the sultry Indian Summer Duo Eyeshadow.
