We all have our drugstore makeup favorites! Whether it's a shimmery gloss or a toning body lotion, on a rainy day when you're in the mood to experiment with new beauty buys without spending the big bucks, drugstores can be like an adult candy store! As you stroll down rows and rows of beauty innovations, it's easy to get sucked in!
According to WWD, now there's no need to get off the couch and head over to the local CVS or Duane Reade! Proctor & Gamble is introducing e-commerce this spring, so that all of your drugstore favorites can be delivered directly to your door. Think Sephora, but it will feature brands such as Covergirl, Pantene Pro-V, Secret and Olay instead of Stilla, Ojon, Bliss and PerriconeMD.
The site called e-Store, in parnership with the e-commerce site PFSweb, will exclusively feature Drew Barymore and your CoverGirl favs like ShineBlast Gloss, Secret Flawless Renewal, and many other P&G beauty and grooming greats!
Rumor on the street is that the company has been losing customers to brands already invested in social media, who have made Facebook, Twitter and e-commerce part of their daily routine.
Would you order from P&G online the same way you do from Sephora or Space NK?
You be the judge! Tell us what you think!
