Quick question for you...May I receive fabulous gifts on the evening of Dec. 24th (they can be left w/my doorman - there is no chimney) even though I am Jewish?

Looking forward to your feedback!

Must Try Makeup: Clarins Barocco Beauty for Holiday

By TheGlamtastic · December 13, 2010 · 0 Comments ·

I love new makeup, who doesn't? New color palettes, new eye shimmers, lip shades, face powder - I love trashing the old, mutilated makeup and replenishing my stash with sexy new shades for the holidays.

When I discovered Clarins Barocoo Collection, I instantly fell for the seductive palettes, the golden shimmers, the metallic mixture and raven black eye color. Smokey eye anyone?

This is one of those super chic, inexpensive makeup must-haves that can help you revamp your look for the holidays without breaking the bank. LOVE!

Vamp up your lips, mark your eyes with mysterious shadow and enhance your look with shimmer with a hint of blush.

Beauty, to me, is about being comfortable in your own skin. That... or a kick-ass red lipstick!

Tarte's Royal Treatment For Under $50

By TheGlamtastic · November 22, 2010 · 0 Comments ·

When I see old posters of My So-Called Life, I'm reminded of just how frustrating age 16 was for me (pre-driver's licsense). The dry and oily skin, redness, blemishes, lack of good makeup...

Then I glance over at my "too cool for school" younger sister and try not to be offended that she'd rather create the perfect smokey eye, text or listen to her iPad Touch instead of shop with her big sis. I try not to be jealous that somehow she has totally skipped the ackward stage that I was trapped in for years!

This year, I found her a beauty gift full of glitz and glamour to keep her doing her makeup, and everyone elses, and persuade her to finally put down her phone!

The tarte Royal Collection Limited-Edition Holiday Palette is a gift of absolute glamour. This holiday palette is stacked with 16 exclusive eyeshadow shades and deluxe sizes of their best-selling glam goodies, including:

  • 16 full size eyeshadows

  • Deluxe clean slate natural face primer

  • Deluxe lights, camera, lashes! clinically-proven natural mascara

  • Deluxe multiplEYE™ clinically-proven lash enhancing primer

  • Deluxe vitamin-infused lipgloss

  • Countdown to Chanukah (and yes, Christmas too)

    By TheGlamtastic · November 18, 2010 · 0 Comments ·

My favorite time of year is always the consumer frenzy that ensues the weeks between Halloween and New Year's Eve. This window of shopping insanity used to be smaller, but every year it seems that the Christmas lights appear earlier and earlier.

So, this year I'm not waiting until after Turkey Day, Black Friday or Cyber Monday to get in the holiday shopping spirit. I'm starting right now!

For the next few weeks, I'll be rolling out my Chanukah countdown!

Just Can't Live Without: Tarte Cosmetics Blushing Bride Cheek Stain

    By TheGlamtastic · June 23, 2010 · 0 Comments ·
Please note: I did receive an editorial sample for testing.
Be a Blushing Bride Any Day of the Week (No Groom Required)!

The talk in my office is weddings, weddings, weddings! One of my co-workers just got engaged (YEAH!), another is awaiting the arrival of the ring, you get the idea...

I LOVED my wedding. The planning, well not so much! The reward for months of RSVP lists and table arrangements was getting to play dress up for a day with NY Fashion Week-worthy hair and makeup artists.

So, I can't afford to throw the wedding of my dreams again, but be a blushing bride? I can pull off that look any day of the week with Tarte Cosmetics Cheek Stain Cheek Color in Blushing Bride ($30). Lately, I just can't live without it! No, I'm not kidding.

This water-based, gel formula is mistake-proof cheek color, which offers a "just blushed" or "rosey romantic" color to the apples of the cheeks. It's super simple to use, even in a low-lit gym locker room, where I get dressed most mornings!

It's alcohol-free, so it won't dry your skin out and it's oil-free so it won't cause crazy break-outs across your face. Perfect for dry summer/winter NYC weather! It's also free of parabens, phalates, sulfates...and more. LOVE!

Ever since I discovered it, I just can't live without Tarte's Cheek Stain!

Have you tried it? Tell us what you think!!!
